DR.HEILBRONNER Organic Astaxanthin Complex is a world first. It is the first product with the active ingredient astaxanthin to be certified organic in accordance with EU guidelines.

How is Astaxanthin produced?

DR. HEILBRONNER Organic Astaxanthin is obtained from the microalgae Haematococcus Pluvialis and pure spring water. These microalgae produce astaxanthin to protect their genetic material and organelles from UV light during periods of drought.

What effect does astaxanthin have?

Astaxanthin is purely plant-based and is known as the “queen of carotenoids”. It is considered the most powerful natural antioxidant and offers a wide range of health benefits.

How is Astaxanthin produced?

The production of DR. HEILBRONNER BIO Astaxanthin is produced under laboratory conditions in photobioreactors using spring water from our own deep wells. The CO2 extraction process of our astaxanthin guarantees the quality of the active ingredient. Our food supplement capsules are vegan and suitable for vegetarian diets.

Astaxanthin lie?

Numerous studies have shown that natural astaxanthin is over 500 times more powerful than vitamin E and other carotenoids. The astaxanthin molecule can render up to 19 free radicals harmless, which have a negative effect on cell ageing. Prof. Dr. Kleine-Gunk even calls astaxanthin the “world champion among antioxidants”.

How should you take astaxanthin capsules?

Recommended intake: one capsule every 2nd day with food.

Astaxanthin during pregnancy or in case of pre-existing conditions.
